The Unremembered Empire - More Accurate Cover

I sincerely hope this piece makes you happy, certainly as happy as even the thought of Dantilux makes me. I would like to say nothing but good things, but maybe because I'm tired, or maybe because I have strong feelings about this, the below is not positive - like the deviation itself it's a bit of a mess and not as good as I wanted - so please bear with. 

Not submitted a post in over 2 months. Why?
Partly because I've not been in the mood. Mainly because christening the good ship Dantilux has been kicking my ass. This is the THIRD piece I've attempted. THIRD! If you look carefully, you can actually see where I gave up on this piece; I loved the concept and lineart but I'm out of practice on colouring and lighting and just about everything, and when I realised I was on the brink of abandoning this one too I decided to just tidy up what I had and submit something.

I love the Unremembered Empire - It is easily my favourite book in the entire Horus Heresy Series. I can't even collate my thoughts to summarise right now why it's so good, so for now I'll leave you with 2 points to bear in mind:

1: If you read The Unremembered Empire and did not clock this, you are a liar.

2: I am so sick to fucking death of the word 'Heresy' in message threads. As far as I'm concerned it is the most juvenile, unimaginative thing to say/accuse, and if you understand why, you can understand my steadily increasing frustration with the warhammer fandom. If it's all you have to say, don't bother, I'll remove it.
